Glowmobiles in NewcastleGateshead – 31 December

The Art Car Parade travelled up to NewcastleGateshead on New Year’s Eve in 2007. The cars joined other automotive creations and vehicles for ‘Glowmobiles’; an illuminated parade which rivalled the Wacky Races! An audience of over 40,000 were treated to an array of Glowmobiles, magically illuminated, which made several pit-stops around Newcastle and Gateshead, crossing the finish line at Newcastle Civic Centre for an early evening fireworks display.
