About Walk the Plank’s not-for-profit status

Walk the Plank is a registered charity (no. 1046077) which owns and operates Britain’s only touring theatre ship, and undertakes community-based arts projects on a not-for-profit basis, aiming to promote access to the arts for all. The charity has a wholly owned trading subsidiary, WTP Pyrotechnics Ltd, which undertakes firework displays and other non-charitable activity. Any surplus created by WTP Pyrotechnics Ltd is gifted to the charity, and this represents a valuable addition to any grants, fundraising or donations Walk the Plank receives.
