Zero-E

Zero-E is a twin-cycle-powered skateboarder 12ft high, 12ft wide and 8ft long. The sculpture will be made of lightweight metal, treated with tensioned fabric and painted detailing. Internal LED lighting will be incorporated to provide a dynamic and colourful spectacle.

Robin Dobson is a sculptor/designer who has specialised in metal and mixed media for the past fifteen years. His ideas for his work come from the people he talks to; local stories, characters and history. He regards every project as an opportunity to take these ideas and create a final finished artwork with a ‘wow factor’, inspired by the unique circumstances, locality and the community of the area.
