A number of bicycles weave in and out od the Art Car Parade, each with a glowing image displayed on their wheels. The imags on the wheels are animated and in different colours – red, green, yellow and blue – and do not spin around, but are always the right way up.

The wheel display is a device which uses an on board computer to calculate the speed the wheel is turning at, and then selects the right parts of the display to turn on. The devices are designed and sold in kit form and can be retrofitted to any regular street bike.
