The Caravan’s Escape

The Caravan’s Escape is a story that unfolds over the course of the parade. The car and caravan start the parade innocently, but it quickly becomes apparent that the caravan has idea’s of it’s own. A number of transformations then follow as side panels extend and retract to change the caravan’s form.

Aragorn Horner designs and builds large scale sculptures and installations that incorporate movement, sound and light. Much of his work has a playful quality that encourages interaction between the audience whilst transporting them to a another dimension. Since graduating from the RCA with an MA in sculpture in 1997, he has shown work in a wide variety of locations including galleries, clubs, festivals and public spaces.
